Following on from the success of the previous years we will be return to Vila Sol, with its three renowned nine hole loops it ensures variety across the two days play. Having been inaugurated in 1991 with the signature of the architect Donald Steel, Vila Sol is living proof that dreams can be realised. Caves and Dolphins Boat Tour

Your journey begins at the picturesque Albufeira Marina, where the friendly crew will warmly welcome you aboard. You'll sail 18 kilometres along the iconic Algarve coastline—passing dramatic cliffs, idyllic beaches, and enchanting sea caves shaped by nature over centuries. The highlight of the trip? The renowned Benagil Cave, with its striking circular skylight and golden interior. You’ll glide right into this natural marvel for a truly unforgettable moment. Then, we head out to sea. As we venture into the open Atlantic, keep a lookout—this stretch of ocean is a favourite spot for dolphins, and with a bit of luck, you’ll see them playfully leaping alongside the boat. You may also spot a variety of wildlife, from seabirds and flying fish to the occasional shark.

Olhao Market and Salinas do Grelha

Step into the heart of the Algarve with a visit to the vibrant Olhão Market, where the colours, scents, and sounds of local life come alive. Wander along the scenic riverside promenade, soaking in the laid-back coastal atmosphere and charming views of traditional fishing boats bobbing on the water. Then, journey to the fascinating Salinas do Grelha, where nature and tradition meet in a spectacular setting. Here, you'll uncover the secrets behind the artisanal production of sea salt and fleur de sel, guided by local experts through the shimmering salt flats. The experience culminates in a truly unique opportunity: a swim in the ‘Dead Sea’ of the Algarve - saltwater lake with a mineral-rich concentration that lets you float effortlessly, just like in the real Dead Sea.

Horse-Riding

The Pinetrees Horse-Riding Experience offers an ideal gateway into the world of horse riding, whether you are a first-time rider, returning to the saddle after a break. Riders begin in the arena, where they are introduced to the fundamentals of horsemanship. This initial session focuses on building rapport with the horse, improving balance, and developing a natural rhythm with the horse’s movement. Basic control techniques are covered to help riders feel relaxed and in harmony before heading out. The experience continues with a tranquil ride through the surrounding pinewoods, offering a unique opportunity to explore the Algarve countryside on horseback. Riders may be led on a rein if preferred, ensuring safety and comfort throughout. Along the way, enjoy the aromatic presence of wild herbs and take in the natural beauty of cork, fig, and carob trees.
